Privacy Policy

This page explains what information go2algo.in collects, why, and how it's protected — including, specifically, what go2algo can and cannot do with your connected broker account.

go2algo is run by an individual, not a company, and does not sell your personal data, does not share your trading data with other users, and does not use your data for anything beyond running and improving the platform for you.

1Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

Your name, email address, and/or phone number — usually as returned by your broker when you connect, or as you enter it (for Groww, which has no separate Client ID, this doubles as your sign-in identifier).

1.2 Broker connection data

Your broker's identity and Client ID, the API Key/API Secret you generate on that broker's developer portal, and the access token issued once you authorize the connection. This is what lets go2algo place orders through your broker's API on your behalf.

1.3 Trading & strategy data

Your strategy and CTT (adjustment/hedge) configurations, scanner results, live-run status and logs, and order/trade history as reported back by your broker.

1.4 Plan & payment data

Your current plan, usage counters (live runs, scanner runs, history), and, when you upgrade a plan, the UPI transaction reference (UTR) number you submit. go2algo does not collect your card number, bank account number, or UPI PIN — payment happens entirely inside your own UPI app.

1.5 Technical data

Standard web request data such as IP address and browser/device information, login timestamps, and — only if you choose to set one up on your Profile page — the outbound proxy (IP/port/credentials) you configure for your own use.

1.6 Support communication

Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp when you contact support.

2How We Use Your Information

To place, modify, and cancel orders through your broker's API, strictly according to the strategy/scanner settings you configure.
To create and maintain your account, and to keep your plan, quota, and usage counters accurate.
To review and activate plan upgrades once a submitted UPI payment is verified.
To provide support when you contact us, and to send you service-related messages (e.g. about your account or plan).
To debug issues, keep the platform running, and improve it over time.

We do not: sell your personal data, share your trading data or strategy configurations with other users, or use your data for any purpose beyond what's described on this page.

3Broker Data — What go2algo Can and Cannot Do

None of the above is a go2algo design choice we could turn off if we wanted to — it reflects what any broker's trading API physically exposes. You can revoke go2algo's API access at any time from your broker's own app/developer settings, which immediately stops go2algo from being able to act on that account.

4Data Storage & Security

Data is transmitted to and from go2algo over HTTPS. Your broker API key, API secret, and access token are encrypted (AES-256) before they're stored in our database — not just access-restricted, but unreadable without the separate encryption key, which is kept out of the database itself. They are never displayed back to you in full once entered, and access to the database and to the admin tools that can view account/plan data is restricted to the platform operator.

We aim to keep security tight given this is an individually-run platform, but we won't claim protections we don't actually have — if you have specific security questions before connecting a broker account, please ask us first at contact@go2algo.in.

5Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Limited sharing happens only where it's needed to run the service:

Your broker — only the order instructions your strategy generates; your broker already has your KYC data independently from its own onboarding, not from us.
Hosting infrastructure — the server(s) that run go2algo and store its database.
Font/icon CDNs — this site loads fonts from Google Fonts and an icon set from a public CDN; as with any web page using these, the request for those files goes to their servers directly, which may see your IP address as part of that standard request.
Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a regulator or tax authority, and will tell you unless legally prevented from doing so.

go2algo does not run any advertising or analytics tracking scripts on this site.

6Cookies

go2algo uses a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in — there is no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookie on this platform. Clearing this cookie, or using a private/incognito window, simply signs you out.

7Your Rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

Send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate account information.
Delete your account and associated personal data (trade/order records may be kept longer where needed for tax or legal record-keeping, as described below).
Stop processing your data for a specific purpose, or withdraw consent for something you'd previously agreed to.

These aren't yet automated in-app buttons — email contact@go2algo.in or message us on WhatsApp and we'll action your request by hand, normally within a few business days.

8Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your personal information, keeping only what we're required to retain for tax, accounting, or legal record-keeping purposes (such as records of payments made). Broker API credentials are deleted or invalidated once an account is closed.

9Age Restriction

go2algo is intended for users aged 18 and above — trading in derivatives requires you to be a legal adult in India. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn that an underage person has registered, we will suspend the account and delete the associated data.

10Changes to This Policy & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
